Dinosaur Provincial Park
Banff is an incredible park and deservers the hype. Unfortunately our truck was still struggling with fuel so we did not have as much time to explore as we had hoped. We will be back.
We did stop at the waterfalls and enjoyed a busy Sunday hike up to an epic set of falls. Teapot falls is further up the trail but we did not have time to get threre.
After a quick bus ride to the Stampede we entered the fair grounds and explored many of the events features. Live animals, a motor cross display and the midway food carts. The deep fried Oreos were so good.

We were fortunate to be invited to Carefree Resort with some great friends. We stayed for a few nights along out way. We zipped around on a supercharged jet-ski, swam in the huge pool and cruised on golf carts which are the main form of transport at the resort.
Carefree resort is about 30 mins south of Red Deer.
This poor dinosaur had a sore tooth and Lisa did her best to pull it out before she was overcome by his bad breath.
The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology, commonly known as the Tyrrell Dinosaur Park, is located in Drumheller, Alberta. It is one of the world's premier dinosaur museums, renowned for its extensive collection of dinosaur fossils and its contributions to palaeontological research.
Visiting this park after seeing the Royal Tyrell Museum was much more impactful as we were educated about what we could see. We wandered all of the trails and even saw some real fossils beside the trails.
