Embarking on an epic road trip across Canada is a dream adventure that takes us through some of the most breathtaking landscapes and vibrant cities in the world. From the wild west coast of Vancouver Island to St Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador. More than 8500 kilometers of breathtaking mountains to expanse of the prairies.
British Columbia, where we start our adventure, is located on the west coast of Canada.
Following the #3 "Crows Nest" highway we stoped at a few special places along the way.
Alberta is an amazing province loaded with incredible topographical diversity. Our trip started with a grand entrance into Banff National Park. The red cliff walls close in and we drove up the two lane highway into a new magical world.
We hiked waterfalls, visited great friends, explored the Royal Tyrell Museum and hunted for fossils at Dinosaur Provincial Park.
Saskatchewan, home of the never ending straight roads! At this point we have only touched the #1 HWY for about 15 minutes after connecting with the #3 in British Columbia. Saskatchewan is not flat, instead it is a slowly rolling landscape shaped by the ancient Bear Paw Sea. Our adventure took us to Great Sand Dunes, Grasslands National Park and Moose Mountain Provincial park and a quick visit to Assiniboia District Museum.
Manitoba, home of the Jets, personalized licence plates and the Kordalchucks.
To say that we had a good time in Manitoba is an understatement and a highlight of our trip. From mini bikes to Twisters, we had a great time on our brief stop.

Ontario, our introduction to the Great Lakes, amazing beaches, shipwrecks, the Capitol and history unlike anything on the West Coast.

Quebec is a foreign land nestled within Canadas borders. Its diverse, French first culture treated us to our favorite Canadian city, Montreal!
Quebec, Canada's largest province by area, is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, French-speaking population, and diverse landscapes.
Unfortunately we were unable to make it to Newfoundland. Sad but undeterred, we will plan to return in the near future.
